Thanks for jumping in with me on this crazy journey. I’m Hannah, and it’s great to meet you.
I am a poet living in Fort Collins, Colorado with my husband, Jeremy, and cat, Reepicheep. Though I love the mountains of Colorado, I think God put the heart of the Pacific Northwest inside of me. I write, bake, cook, and read so many books on so many different subjects, though my favorites are poetry, high fantasy, theology, psychology, and all things to do with art and creativity. My favorite poets at the moment are Mary Oliver and Li-Young Lee. I also enjoy gardening, pottery, painting, and creating spaces for community.
I began writing poetry in middle school through the encouragement of various English teachers to process and express my world, and I have not stopped writing since. I obtained my undergraduate minor in creative writing with a focus on poetry and my bachelor’s in psychology. I currently work as a case manager with an amazing local non-profit, and I recently published my first full poetry collection titled The Daughter and The Hound!
